N.A.C. - Nipple Areola Complex Tattooing and Breast Reduction Scars
Reconstructive breast surgery is a popular form of cosmetic surgery in todays society, not only for beauty requirements, but for medical purposes also. Such a procedure however, can leave an areola/nipple that is missing or at least damaged in some way. Over a series of sessions, our Nipple Areola Complex Tattooing and Breast Reduction Scars procedures can create an areola/nipple and even give the 'illusion of protrusion'. Breast reconstructions also leave scars, which will fade with time but we can help speed up the process.
After reconstructive breast surgery the areola /nipple is sometimes missing in part or entirely. NAC can create a perfect nipple or areola and with clever shadowing and highlighting can even create "the illusion of protrusion".
Areola re-colouration is a multi procedure whereby the specialist will layer colour to match an existing areola or create colour - as in a bi-lateral patient.
Camouflage scars
The inverted T shaped (or "anchor") scar that will result from breast reduction can fade with time but micro pigmentation can aid and speed up the process either by MCA (a dry needling technique) or by camouflage colour being introduced into the area.
Some clients request nipple colouration to create either a stronger areola or to enlarge or reshape their areolas for cosmetic purposes.
